Troy Hope has been entertaining audiences since the age of 13, beginning a lifelong musical journey that has taken him to clubs, fairs, festivals, weddings, and concert venues throughout Southern California. From an early age, he earned a reputation as a versatile performer with a passion for connecting with audiences through great music and energetic live performances.
Over the years, Troy has shared the stage with legendary artists including Buck Owens, surf guitar pioneer Dick Dale, and country music icon Hank Snow. His powerful voice and remarkable versatility allow him to authentically perform songs made famous by artists ranging from Elvis Presley and John Waite to Keith Urban, making him equally at home in classic rock, country, pop, and beyond.

Bill DeLoach
Bill DeLoach has enjoyed a remarkable musical career spanning more than five decades. His professional journey began in the early 1970s when he toured as a keyboardist with Renaud White and the Contraband, opening the door to larger opportunities in the music industry. Soon afterward, he joined the legendary Four Seasons, performing keyboards and vocals on national television appearances and touring extensively alongside Frankie Valli during a pivotal era in the group’s history.
Throughout his career, Bill has shared stages with many of the most influential artists of his generation, including members of The Bee Gees and The Rascals. Following his time with The Four Seasons, he became a sought-after performer in Las Vegas, eventually joining the band of acclaimed entertainer Danny Gans. Bill spent many years providing keyboards and backing vocals in Gans’ record-breaking productions at The Rio, The Mirage, and Wynn Las Vegas.
After Danny Gans’ passing, Bill created and produced Echoes of the ’60s, a successful multimedia tribute celebrating one of popular music’s most influential decades. He continues to perform throughout the Las Vegas entertainment scene and is widely respected for his exceptional musicianship, rich vocals, and deep appreciation of classic rock, pop, Motown, and harmony-driven music. Today, Bill brings that wealth of experience to Higher Ground, helping deliver the stellar musicianship and signature harmonies that define the band’s sound.
David Michael Humes
David Humes has been behind the drums since his teens, building a professional career that has spanned decades and taken him from the clubs and concert stages of the San Francisco Bay Area to Nashville and, more recently, the Las Vegas entertainment scene. A versatile musician with deep roots in country, rock, R&B, blues, funk, bluegrass, and pop, David has earned a reputation as both a rock-solid drummer and an exceptional vocalist.
Throughout his career, David has performed with acclaimed artists including Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, Carlene Carter, Steve Wariner, and Larry Stewart of Restless Heart. He has also appeared on shows with some of country music’s biggest names, including George Strait, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, Lee Greenwood, Alabama, and Ronnie Milsap, among many others.
In Higher Ground, David’s soaring tenor voice provides many of the band’s signature high harmonies, blending seamlessly with Bill DeLoach and Troy Hope to create the rich vocal sound that has become one of the band’s trademarks. He also performs those harmonies in the Crosby, Stills & Nash tribute act, CSN Express. Whether driving the groove from behind the drums or adding soaring vocal lines, David’s passion for great music shines through in every performance.
